J.J. Italiano

J.J. Italiano is a young veteran of the music business. As an artist manager, he’s managed the careers of several successful touring artists from DIY punk rock mainstays to platinum selling radio darlings and as marketing director for Universal Republic Records he championed a number of releases, including the US debut of Gotye’s, “Somebody That I Used to Know”, which has sold 5x platinum and continues to top charts around the world.

J.J.’s new business, Jupiter Strategic, Inc., develops and executes marketing and business development in addition to artist and product management.

“What I enjoy the most and what I’m the best at is helping people reach a particular goal over a particular period of time. My job title is always different, but what I do stays the same. My hope is that by broadening the list of services, we’ll be looking at the needs of the client first and determining what we’re doing for them second, and hopefully that will come as a breathe of fresh air to the folks we work with.”

J.J. matches each $100 earned as a consultant with an hour of pro-bono consultation or development work for struggling entrepreneurs, non-profits, and community outreach programs.
