Swappel: A Modern Day Twist on Bartering

Swappel is a fresh take on bartering.  Co-founder Connor Murphy explains “Swappel is a web-based networking tool for the purpose of connecting people who are interested in bartering their talents or items for other people’s services or goods. Our goal at Swappel is to breathe new life into a very old modum of exchange”.

“Swappel provides people an alternative way to aqcuire goods and services without spending their money,” explains CEO Dillon Scott.  “We strongly believe that given the right tools to connect with other people, bartering is a viable supplementary medium of exchange . Swappel’s ability to connect entire geographical zones and its implementation of a simple graphical user interface to negotiate the terms of exchange make any kind of trade an achievable possibility”.

Dillon Scott (Cofounder / CEO), the originator of the Swappel concept, used community message boards to seek out other like-minded partners to become part of the growth and developement of the company. Connor Murphy (Cofounder / CFO) answered that call. From there, the Swappel team grew to include Eric Dyoniziak (Cofounder / Chief Software Engineer), and Winthrop Jones (Cofounder / Marketing Director). Over the course of many months and meetings, their passion, dilligence, vision and synergy as a team drove Swappel to become more and more of a reality.

We formed a Delaware S-Corporation for Dillon Scott, Connor Murphy, Eric Dyoniziak, and Winthrop Jones.
