Jeff Unger, Attorney and Founder of eMinutes
Jeff is the founder and CEO of eMinutes. He is a graduate of the nation’s top school for entrepreneurship, Babson College where he was awarded the Economics Letter of Achievement. As a lawyer admitted to practice in both California and New York, Jeff divides his time between Los Angeles and Manhattan. Since founding his firm in 1997, Jeff has become best known as an expert on business organizations, including corporations, LLCs, and partnerships. He has degrees in business and law; and a master’s degree in taxation.
Jeff is an active member of the legal community and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. He has also been featured as a speaker, author and commentator in an array of media outlets including America Express OPEN, Idea Mensch, The Los Angeles Times, San Diego Union-Tribune, Orange County Register, Denver Post, Los Angeles Daily Journal, Inc. Magazine, Business Week, Tax Notes, LA Daily Commerce, San Diego Business Journal, San Diego Daily Transcript, Journal of Real Estate Taxation and California Lawyer.
Jeff’s law practice is limited to business, corporate and real estate transactions. Jeff has received an A/V Rating from Martindale Hubbell, and he has also been chosen as a “Super Lawyer” by his peers every year since 2004 when the award was first created. Jeff lives in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles with his wife, Leyna, his son, Atlas, and their beagle, Max. His older son, Adam, is a business student at Ithaca College. At his wedding to Leyna, guests danced down the aisle to the Black Eyed Peas.
